The lenses incorporate a super high-efficiency polarizer (99.9+ % polarizing efficiency), along with a special optical retarder having high transmission and low haze. Additional support layers and anti-scratch coatings are added before forming into curved lens blanks for cutting and mounting into frames. The high visible light transmission and color neutrality provide the highest contrast and visibility of the 3D content, whether in a dark theatre or a well-lit home environment.
The lenses exceed ANSI Z80.3 special-purpose UV requirements, blocking 100% UVA and 100% UVB, which allow the user to wear this product outdoors. They also meet FDA impact resistance requirements. |
